Danske Luttehøne

My information about this breed was mostly supplied by J. B. Urban

This Danish fowl is quite endangered at present, although there is archeological evidence that this type of chicken has existed for over 2,000 years.

Luttehøne can also be spelled Luttehoene.

The Danske Luttehøne is closely related to the Danske Landhøne. Actually, it is the same bird carrying the short-leg gene.
