Florida Duck

This duck is found only in coastal areas of the southeastern US. It appears to be intermediate between Mallards and American Black Ducks and is sometimes identified as a race of Mallard.

It prefers lowland and costal marshes. These ducks are found in pairs or small groups except during molt, when larger aggregations occur. It is a dabbler and upender in typical Mallard fashion.
