Baer's Pochard

This Critically Endangered bird is a diving duck native to freshwaters of eastern Asia. Both habitat destruction and over hunting threaten the species.
Both sexes have the grey bill and a white band on their wings.
They feed at shallower depths than other Aythya and are also better fliers.
